WHAT’S GOING ON WEDNESDAY – IDRIS ELBA PLAYS NELSON MANDELA
I’m pretty much down for whatever Idris is in!
CONCRETELOOP – The long awaited and much anticipated autobiographical pic of anti-apartheid revolutionary Nelson Mandela, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, stars none other than Idris Elba.
The film is slated to hit theaters November 29, and sets out to convey the story of the South African leader and President from 1994-95 and his early life. It delves into his coming of age, education and 27 years of incarceration.
WHAT’S GOING ON WEDNESDAY – LETOYA LUCKETT HAS A NEW GIG
One of my favorites, LeToya Luckett has landed a role on the hit VH1 series “Single Ladies.” LeToya, will play Felicia Price, the icy founder and Senior Partner of Price Management, one of the most power music management companies in the world.
I have never been a huge fan of the show, but I will take a look at it this season and see what LeToya is working with. I liked her as the ghetto baby momma on Next Generation Wayans. Congrats Latoya!
