Chad & Evelyn…The Saga Continues
Long story short; Chad was creeping, Ev found his condom receipt, she went HAM on him, he head butted her, she call the police, he goes to jail, then he gets out of jail, she says he needs help, he gets kicked off of the Miami Dolphin team, VH1 cancels their reality show, and after a nice long 6 weeks of marriage, Ev files for divorce.
According to TMZ, Ev filled legal documents yesterday stating that her marriage is “irretrievably broken”
OK, here’s my take. Im so upset with Evelyn for making me side with Chad on this. I mean, didn’t she say on basketball wives, that she was fine with him cheating as long as he kept it “real” with her…so why is she tripping about it now. THEN, she made this statement:
“It is with great sadness and much trepidation that I release this statement addressing the domestic violence incident that happened this past Saturday,” Lozada said in an email via her publicist.
“I am deeply disappointed that Chad has failed to take responsibility for his actions and made false accusations against me, it is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles. Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well. I’m grateful to my family, friends and fans for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.”
So now she is saying that domestic violence is not OK, but she wasn’t saying that when she was jumping over tables trying to get at Jennifer, OR when she hit her in the head with that purse, OR when she was throwing bottles across the room. Now Chad has lost his wife, lost his job, lost his 2 reality show (Hard Knocks and Chad & Ev) and who knows if he will be picked up by another team. This is such a sad situation, that I’m sure both of them are going to look back on a wish they hadn’t…

I feel bad for Chad…but domestic violence is never ever ok…wish things had turned out better for them. I didn’t even know they were married….such a shame. I hope she doesnt return on basketball wives.

I know everyone doesn’t agree with that…but it’s true! i feel bad for him too. Yes, he is crazy at he runs his mouth A LOT, but a man need to work. Say what you want, but he is darn good at his job! I wonder how this is going to unfold.
Evelyn is one load of contradictions. He is probably kicking himself so hard right now..smh.

Ok, so I agree with MOST of what you said. Yep, Ev indeed ok’d the ‘creeping’ as long as he kept it real. I think that meant telling her BEFORE he bought the condoms. And secondly NOT lying when confronted. So I don’t see that as a contradiction.
Now I’m back with you on the part about her putting her hands on folks but then screaming bloody murder when it came full circle. No one had empathy for Jen when that chick slapped her. They wanted her to drop the charges and everything, they even bullied her off the show. Jen kept saying ‘no one had the right to put their hands on me’…. hmm, imagine that.
And the last thing is, I had a smigen of empathy for Chad for all of 2 seconds, then it was over. I KNOW he needs to work, but I can’t want him to keep his job more than he WANTS his job. He KNEW he was on thin ice with the team.
It is reported that he told the team after practice “now watch me go home and get arrested”. Which means this situation was brewing before it exploded. So he should not have gone home (if that is true).
They both gambled big and they both lost big!!

Maybe he was lying for her benefit. That’s what “they” say. LOL. “I lied to keep from hurting you.” (Some Bull) Overall Im not about to be with, let alone marry someone that’s telling me upfront, that they can’t be faithful to me. If so, you get what you get…in her case, a good ole headbutt.
