Dark Knight Tops The Box Office

          

 

After that first week of being toped but Ice Age, Dark Knight has beat out it’s competitors to a point where there was not really a competition.  I am calling this movie the “come back kid”.  Dark Knight came in with over 64 million dollars, where as Ice Age came in second with 13 million.  Followed by The Watch, Suburban dads who form a neighborhood watch group as a way to get out of their day-to-day family routines find themselves defending the Earth from an alien invasion.

The Secret Life of Bees

 

 

I am one of the few people that really enjoyed this movie.  The Cast of Queen Latifah, alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, and the cutie patutie Dakota Fanning.  This movie is set in South Carolina in 1964, this is the tale of Lily Owens a 14 year-old girl who is haunted by the memory of her late mother. To escape her lonely life and troubled relationship with her father, Lily flees with Rosaleen, her caregiver and only friend, to a South Carolina town that holds the secret to her mother’s past. Taken in by the intelligent and independent Boatwright sisters, Lily finds solace in their mesmerizing world of beekeeping.
