Really Romney??

OK, I really hope this isn’t true.  Dr. Condoleezza Rice could be the choice for Romney’s VP?  I would hope that she wouldn’t fall for the okie doke with this one.  I have no idea who Romney has working for him behind the scenes, but they are horrible.  Romney stands for nothing and can’t relate to any person that I know.  Of course this would be his way of THINKING he could gain the “black” and “women” vote, but people voting are smart enough to know that this is simply a tactic of his that probably will not work.

CNN reports that Although Romney pledged during the Republican primary that he would only pick a running mate who would “be pro-life and pro-traditional marriage,” Rice is neither. She has expressed support for civil unions in the past and has consistently described herself as “mildly pro-choice.”  The thing is that Romney is still not pro or even mildly pro lower to middle class or pro black agenda.

Romney…good luck with this one, but we are too smart to not see the smoke you would be blowing up our behinds with this choice.

Michael Duncan Hospitalized For Cardiac Arrest!

“The Green Mile” star and Academy Award-nominated Michael Clarke Duncan (pictured) is in the intensive care unit (ICU), after going in to cardiac arrest Friday morning, and his girlfriend, reality show villainess Omarosa Stallworth (pictured below), actually saved his life, according to TMZ.

Stallworth reportedly discovered that Duncan was unconscious and barely breathing at around 2:00 a.m. Acting quickly, Stallworth reportedly began to perform emergency CPR, which resuscitated him.

3 Men Violently Attack Gay Man

This story is so sad…I am not “pro-gay”, but stories like this can still hurt my heart.  Just because you like something that’s different from the next person doesn’t mean you should HATE them because of your different in preference.  Hating to the point of physically harming someone, no matter what the situation is, should have repercussions.  Then to make a video of it and post it online is just ridiculous.  This world we live in is so harsh, and unkind, I have to ask when will we let people live the life they want to live without us criticizing them for it?

Dareal Demare Williams, Christopher Cain, Dorian Moragne have been sentenced to ten years in Georgia for their violent assault on Brandon White because of his sexual orientation, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

The assault was allegedly captured on video byJavaris Bradford who remains at-large.

“Y’all are the ultimate bullies, and you bullied somebody and you hurt him,” Fulton County Superior Court Judge Jackson Bedford told the defendants. “To me there is no question you did it because of his sexual orientation.”
