Michael Vick is Officially Off The Market
Michael Vick got married this weekend to longtime girlfriend Kijafa Frink at Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
According to GossipExtra.com, which covers the Miami area, the security for the wedding was $300,000!
GossipExtra.com’s Jose Lambiet confirmed through an e-mail on Monday afternoon that the security alone was $300,000.
There were around 300 guests in attendance, including LeSean McCoy and Andy Reid, Roddy White, Plaxico Burress and Aaron Brooks.
The menu featured lobster, oyster and shrimp. And also chicken and waffles, which is something the expensive venue had never served before.
Don’t expect to see many photos or videos from the wedding. Cameras and cellphones were collected from guests upon their arrival.
If the security alone was $300,000, imagine how much the entire wedding was. The wedding was expensive, but Vick can probably afford it. The quarterback signed a six-year, $100 million deal during last season.
Anderson Cooper say’s, ”The Fact Is, I’m Gay”
My favorite silver haired CNN Analyst, says’t that he IS gay. There has been lots of questions about his sexuality, and he has finally “come out”. I’m sure it was tough for him, but that has to be a freeing feeling to get that out.
Anderson Cooper would rather cover the news, not be the news. But in this case, he’s making headlines to put this question to bed once and for all.
“The fact is, I’m gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn’t be any more happy, comfortable with myself and proud,” the CNN journalist told The Daily Beast columnist and gay rights activist Andrew Sullivan.
The CNN journalist came out after being asked by Sullivan, himself gay and a friend for more than two decades, to comment on the idea of gay public figures who declare their sexuality in a “restrained and matter-of-fact way.”
“Andrew, as you know, the issue you raise is one that I’ve thought about for years. Even though my job puts me in the public eye, I have tried to maintain some level of privacy in my life. Part of that has been for purely personal reasons. I think most people want some privacy for themselves and the people they are close to. But I’ve also wanted to retain some privacy for professional reasons,” Cooper said, citing safety reasons since his job takes him to war zones and other dangerous places.

Today, we’re getting our first glimpse at the film starring Queen Latifah (M’Lynn), Phylicia Rashad (Clairee), Jill Scott (Truvy), Alfre Woodard (Ouiser), Condola Rashad (Shelby) and Adepero Oduye (Annelle).
The story follows the close relationship of six women through their ups and downs. Kenny Leon directed the TV movie which is set to air later this year on Lifetime.
