Jerry and Terry Lynn Identical Twin Artist
This dynamic duo is a force to recon with. This is a first that I’ve ever heard of, identical twin painters, painting together on one canvas, while making the most beautiful art work. Growing up in Memphis, these two use a divine mix of blues, jazz, and spirituality to create masterpieces. They have been blessed with the opportunity to show their paintings in some of the country’s top art shows, but they’re not getting too satisfied with their past achievements. Twin were the official artists of the 1998 Essence Music Awards in New York and they created the official poster for the 1997 Philadelphia Art Expo. They have also been featured at the renowned Black Fine Art Show in New York, Their list of collectors reads like a Who’s Who of entertainment and includes Kanye West, Earl Graves, Ralph White of Earth Wind & Fire, Kem, Alonzo & Tracey Mourning, Bob Johnson, Junior Bridgeman, and countless others.
I had the pleasure of interviewing one half of the duo, Mr. Terry Lynn. Check out the interview below.
