Movie Monday – Ted???, Magic Mike, and Brave

TED is number 1 by a long shot

Well, my husband and I wondered what type of people would be interested in a movie like Ted, and as we stood on line at the theatre with our boys to see Brave, our questions were answered.  Not only were we able to see they type of people, but we were able to see the amount of people.  I can see why it was number 1.  Ted brought in over 54 million dollars.

#2 – Magic Mike

The movie that I actually wanted to see, but made the sacrifice for my babies ;-) .  Matthew McConaughey and Channing Tatum, I’m sure are a sight to see.  Matt has been on my top 5 since A Time To Kill, and Channing is growing on my list.  I may have to have some alone time when I go see this next week.  I am not surprised that this movie was in the top 3 this weekend.

#3 – Brave

I think I truly enjoyed this movie more than my children.  I left the theatre full after watching this classic mother/daughter movie. Although it was animated, there were a lot of symbolisms that kids would never understand in this film.  I really enjoyed this movie, and the idea of understand differences and learning to accept them.  I would definitely go see this movie again and give it 2 thumbs up.
