Hollywood Exes
I have to admit that I haven’t seen this show, but because of all the positive feedback, I had to post about it. Because good reality TV is so hard to find, especially with a minority cast. I am happy to hear that these ladies are staying classy…well at least for the first show.
In the first episode the ladies are anxious to start a new life and stop living in her ex-husband’s shadow, Andrea Kelly, ex-wife of R. Kelly, leaves her home town of Chicago to check out L.A. In L.A., she has a close friend in Nicole Murphy, ex-wife of Eddie Murphy. Nicole takes her under her wing and introduces Andrea to her friends and fellow Hollywood exes, Sheree Fletcher, ex-wife of Will Smith, Jessica Conseco, ex-wife of Jose Conseco, and Mayte Garcia, ex-wife of Prince. The women bond over their unique position as famous exes. Meanwhile, Jessica has lunch with Jose, who has a startling proposal for her.
Oprah and The Kardashians
It was great that Oprah went in ad did all of our dirty work. She jabbed with all of the hard questions, and actually ask what we all wanted to know in a way that only Oprah can. I just love Oprah and her remarkable interview skills, I love how she is fine asking very uncomfortable questions.
Even though the over all interview was fantastic, I think we can all agree what the highlight of the 2 part series was Kim K’s interview. I feel like there was a lot of holding back with the responses and a lot of rehearsed answers, but that is what I would expect from that family. The portion with the 4 Kardashian kids seemed the most fake. I mean some of their answers were just too perfect. The most honest answers came from Khole’ when asked would they be famous if they weren’t so attractive, and Khole’ did say, “no” they wouldn’t be as famous. I love that Kim put it out there that if it were not for the sex tape that this world wind of fame would not be what it is today. As for her and Kanye…they are REALLY together, WOW. This should be interesting to watch, since she wants to get married and have children…will it be with him?
The couples; Kris and Bruce, all I have to say is poor Bruce. He just gets walked all over by everyone, soon baby Mason will have his turn to take a few steps over him. LOL. Kourtney and Scott, I still don’t see why she is with him. I didn’t get that answer out of her…shoot if Oprah can’t get it out of her, I don’t think anyone can. She is so closed off and guarded, she will not let anyone in…maybe that’s why her and Scott work. Who know. Khloe’ and Lamar, who knew that I would kinda, sorta, like them together a little.
