Foodie, or in this case…Drinkie:

In Own this week Gayle King mentioned a few of her favorite things right now, and she mentioned a drink for the nondrinker, and it sounds so good and perfect for spring. Try it this weekend and tell me what you think.

“The Half Circle from the Lobby Lounge at Manhattan’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel is so delicious, I got the bartender to share the recipe: half pomegranate juice, half pineapple juice, with a splash of Sprite. As a nondrinker, I finally feel like I can hang with the grown-ups”

Fashion:

Because we normally see Rihanna, in an “out there” outfit, or some crazy hair and accessories, seeing her in this picture was such a breath of fresh air. She looks so lovely, classy, yet still her naturally sexy self. I love this look on her and I hope to see it more often, as she is doing press for her new movie, Battleship, coming out later this year.

There is a lot going on this weekend. Enjoy the beautiful weather and enjoy your city. A lot if us live in great cities with a lot going on, but we never take advantage of it. This weekend, make it a priority and get out of the house to enjoy your city!!
